Van's Beach
The most popular beach in Leland, Van's Beach is at the end of Cedar Street. Find Van's Garage, just south of the Leland River, and you are on your way.

North Beach
Head north past the Leland Harbor off of N. Lake Street (Go past Pearl Street to find the trail head on your left where William Street intersects).

Nedow's Bay
This protected little enclave on Lake Leelanau is shallow and warm with a boat launch, dock and picnic tables - perfect for littles. Find Nedow's Bay by heading down Pearl Street past the Leland Country Club.

Pyramid Point
The Pyramid Point Trail leads to a high, panoramic view of Lake Michigan, half a mile from the trailhead. This is one of the best views of the waters of the Manitou Passage and the Manitou Islands.

Empire Bluffs
The view of the Lake Michigan shoreline and South Bar Lake from the Empire Bluff Overlook is spectacular. On a clear day, you will also see South Manitou Island.

Whaleback Natural Area
Whaleback’s fragile bluff rises 300 feet and can be seen from many vantage points in Leelanau. A viewing platform perched on the edge of this 40-acre natural area offers fantastic views of the Manitou Passage.
